I have been thinking about building a truck similar to yours out of my 59 Ford F100 parts truck. Your truck is sweet. I will throw this out because I have been out in the garage this morning measuring my wifes 58 f100. I wondered if the cab and fenders could be pushed back 5-6 inches on the frame for and altered wheelbase look. Not sure if it would work on a Chevy, but looks do-able on a Ford. A stepside bed would make it easier to relocate the rear fenders.

dear god that is perfect....you could rev it by hand or foot! i would never put a cover on that and just blast on the freeway for the hell of it thank you dirty' that was some history i actually liked to learn
