I'm a retired mechanic that has always been into old cars mostly because I couldn't afford new and just really love working on the older stuff. I live in southern California and am encouraged by the young people I see building their first hot rod . I have a 1955 Ford Fairlane coupe and a 1933 gl*** Vicky, both are Ford powered. I just went to Bonneville for my first time for World of Speed Week and will definitely be back. What a wonderful place and a great bunch of speed freaks "in the best sense". I hope to fit into this group and can be of help to some.
