We had another great day at the Pileup. Some random thoughts...

    1. The Chrome Czars and volunteers do an amazing job organizing this event.

    2. The cars, people, bands, vendors, etc are all awesome.

    3. It was crazy cool to see all of the fantastic artists there with their unbelievable pieces for sale.

    4. The H.A.M.B. Meet/Greet was cool (THANKS for the sticker and the cookies!)

    5. The Baghdad speech and presentation was moving (Several pictures of that presentation are in the album below.)

    6. The traffic wasn't a problem for us, but then we got there early and stayed late. Sorry to hear others had issues.

    7. Can't wait until next year!!!

Great bunch of pictures. That 53-54 Corvette was so cool and Louvre Dudes 55 gasser project on the trailer had to be the best deal there. Gary

  10. Who is that hansome devil in shots 9447 & 9448??

I had a great time despite the weather. I'll be waving that flag again next year!!

OldCarMike, Told ya I would make ya famous!!!

I took a lot of extra tri-five gasser photos because I added them to the 6500 tri five gasser photos elsewhere within the fotki album (already done, so you guys are famous too!)

Also took a lot of extra pinstripe photos and those shots are added to the striping folder in the same fotki album as well.

Not sure on the story on the "Faded Glory" gasser, other than it appeared to have Ford power with a cross ram intake. The orange plexi style windows rocked.

Once again it was good to see again Denise as well (Are there more than one of her??) I especially like the pic I caught of her at the Meet and Greet (she was firing the camera back!)

  13. I was famous long before this, but for dubious reasons. ;) I loved that "Faded Glory" orange windowed gasser too even though I'm not a gasser guy. At least not in the automotive sense. Now, gimme a good bowl of chili and then I'm a gasser guy...

  24. Great photo's! I spent 10 & half hours at the show and I'm amazed on how many rides I missed. Thank you for bringing me up to speed.

Coolstuff, I would have liked to have talked with you a little more, but your booth was always jammed!

Glad everyone enjoyed the pics. There were some amazing things to see and I am sure I missed plenty.
