Without everyone's efforts the Pileup wouldn't be what it is. The wife and I had a blast as usual. 280 miles without a heater, and a bad back.....but wouldn't trade if for anything. Good times spent with people I don't get to see very often and realizing there's a lot of people I didn't get to say hi to...time goes so fast when your having fun.... D.W. said we were on her **** list for not volunteering so time to man up....put me on the list for 2010! Czars RULE, Volunteers make it happen, now only 363 days till we do it again. Thank You everyone that makes this happen Jeff
Doen't the quality, quan***y, and INTENSITY of the posts here about the event truely amazing? That alone speaks VOLUMES about just how improtant a show this is. Like he said, THANKS guys.
hey - another post to THANK the volunteers AGAIN - they deserve mucho praise - and they DONT need the peoples bad at***ude that were out there cussing and threatening ya'll did great and hope to see ya next year
Thanks for the positive thread Jeff! And ain't this the truth!! Looked for you for a while to say hi, 'course when I finally spotted you, you had your *** pointin' to the camera at the M&G, fortunately I was standing west of you.
Now that I'm a local I volunteered for the first time and am glad I did. Jeff you will be a welcome addition to the Red Shirt Army It's like a family reunion with cars, thanks to the Czars for a good time.
ain't that the truth! The last few years I spend more time talking to people than looking at the cars.
I left Indy at 5am, froze my but off going up in the T, I helped with the red shirt parking team, saw a lot of cool cars, met some cool people, and had a great time. I cant wait till next year, Thanks Czars.
Didn't we talk about that at the show? I literally spent less than a half hour walking around looking at cars. Some may say that the quality of cars was down(which it was not) but the quality of people was WAY up. This show, Cheaterama, the Shakedown, Rust Revival, Lonestar Roundup. All shows about good friends and a good time. Cars just get us to them.
Don't forget about me......This was one of the best years....except maybe the one in 2003. Thank you AGAIN to the Volunteers for the help, no matter what anyone else says YA'LL ROCK
There were cars there?? I was to busy talking to people to go round and look at cars! I had heat, but Mom stole it and made me and Grayson drive the roadster.
I dont think she really made us,,,But I do blame her for makin me want a roadster now,,,I need another project like I need another kid
I'll add to the thank you's. This event is just what one needs to face a long winter in northern Michigan. Since this event started it's become the ONE for me. the Czars and all of the volunteers should take a bow....................WELL DONE !!!!!! Frank
thats the one!!! fomoco....our profile book begins! "i found my love and lube at powerbreeders lube and love! breakin parts and mendin hearts since 2008!
That was my first time at the Pileup and I can honestly say I will be back next year. I had an awesome time. Enjoyed the 7 hour car ride with Hatter, Buckle, and Zeebo in the '60 Chevy Wagon. I liked the variety of cars there. Great vendor area set-up. Hopefully will have my truck at the show next year! Thanks to the Czars as well as all the volunteers for a well run show.
