scratched moons

any body know how to polish aluminum moons and still keep the same surface look???

Put it on the wheel and let the wheel spin while you wet sand it?

 

This is the third time in a week you've posted the same question.

 

spin it and hold a red scratch pad on it

sell them to me cheap and then buy new ones.......

 

Stick them in a lathe and polish them, or send them to me, My lathe can hold a 19" part. I see your from SJ your in my hood

By the way thanks for telling me how to clean my moons up also I was wondering

 

I'd say it depends on how deep the scratches are. If it were me I would give mother's wheel polish or equivalent a try...maybe use a buffer too.

 

I like the spinning and red scratch pad idea, if the red is to rough after you get the scratches out, do the same thing with the green pad next.
