scratched moons

    any body know how to polish aluminum moons and still keep the same surface look???

    Stick them in a lathe and polish them, or send them to me, My lathe can hold a 19" part. I see your from SJ your in my hood

    I'd say it depends on how deep the scratches are. If it were me I would give mother's wheel polish or equivalent a try...maybe use a buffer too.
     
  9. I like the spinning and red scratch pad idea, if the red is to rough after you get the scratches out, do the same thing with the green pad next.
