Event Coverage ***Bonneville 2009 Speed Week***

There was an immediate slew of Bonneville photo threads the following the races. I figured I would wait a couple of months before posting any of the photos I took this August out at. So here they are. Now that we are entering fall and very shortly winter, here are my favorite Summertime photos.

I'll start out with the early morning shots in impound...

Lastly;even though it is not typical HAMB material, some shots from inside the Enolla Gay hanger in Wendover. Special thanks to Tony Huntimer for having the open house at the hanger and chasing away other photographers during my shoot of the blue '34.

 

Good eye for race cars I think. That red Olds just kills me. To cool. And not to artsy at least on race cars. I don't want art I want to see cars. Thanks for that. You art guys got your share here also.

 

Oustanding pictures....All of them !......Bonneville History....the one photo of the black Roadster has Jimmy Shine and Wayne Jesel in it if I remember correctly what he looks like, they finally set the record they have been working on.The car is a fellas out of Vegas, the engine is Mr. Jesel's with Jimmy as the shoe.....Littleman

If I were to try and explain B-ville to someone who hadn't gone, I would show them these pictures. From the racing to the night life to the old Air Force base. Beautiful shots.
