my name is larry and ive been seeing alot of good posts on this message board. so i thought id join up. well i ve done most of the work on all of my cars , friends help was always welcomed though. ive always liked old cars and since i started as a mechanic have been involved one way or another. as most of my friends know i am usually willing to help with a project or lend an opinion. as far as my cars i started with a 54' chrysler with an early hemi, then i got what i wanted a 49' chevy found rotted in someones back lot(that is the car i am currently driving) now my latest project a 29' 5 window found in the back of a body shop in the bay area. stoked to be on the hamb and hope to get some good info and p*** some along.
got any more pics of that car?? that thing is ***s on, i think. has a certain sinister quality that 49-54 chevies often don't have. your car looks PISSED, i dig it.
Welcome to the HAMB, as a fellow 49 Chevy owner I've been admiring your car on the net for a while now.
That 29 you found wouldn't happen to be the same one Coupe-De-Cab was tellin' us about would it?? If so...that was a nice find. I dig the '49 too. Welcome to the HAMB. See you down the road. Adios, Buzz '54
hey larry, welcome that was a great score on the model a I'm happy to hear of more hotrods in the bay area. I can't drive my coupe enough, everyday it isn't raining. You coming up to the saints thing this weekend on sunday?
Stoked Larry finally made it to the Hamb! I have to say, i was there when he first got his '49 and went to his shop every once in a while to see it's progress and everytime it looked better and better. It's an amazing sled that he's built, everything looks so good on it Now his '29 A is going to be super nice when he get's around to working on that, can't wait to roll with another Coupe to the shows and around san Jose Larry's a great guy to know, very knowledge about cars and a very honest person... so he will be a good ***et to the Hamb for sure! I'm super stoked we are friends and i owe him alot for getting me more invovled with Hotrods. ...Now hurry up and come over and show/help me how to get this sweet Offy on my ride welcome aboard buddy...you rule, CAB

Hey... maybe larry might want to go in with me to rent that place, that would be awesome to have a spot like that so we could work on upcoming projects together and store some ****, just an idea take care, CAB
yeah it was kind of a pain but its doable. my friend nacho did most of the window he has the eye for what it should look like.
Hi Larry! Welcome. Nice to finally put a face to the car. I have a few pics of your car from the Lucky *******s Hot Rod High Life and from Billetproof... Got several nice shots at the Lucky *******s event (here's one)... was a pain to photograph at BP though (had to use a flash)... Keri
