I am surprised I haven't seen anything yet. Jimmy's was a cold one this year. Lots of great cars and mostly good attitudes from people. Jimmy's has a strict pre-72 only rule. As usual there were a lot of modern cars being let in and gate crashers from bad-ass wannabee bikers. This pisses me off to no end. Apparently a lot of these people threatened the gate workers. If you are one or know one of these scum bags and was cool with it you should be chewed up in a combine and fed to the hogs. There's enough people there, if muscle is needed, I'm sure would have loved to help keep the low lifes out. Here's some pics Gallery http://vorhese.com/gallery/album357 My 53 Desoto My buddy's 51 Plymouth
Thanks for the pics, they are great, I was there in my 51 merc with my family. I have known Jimmy O'Keefe for over 30 years. When his picnic "idea" first started he told me that anyone and everyone could come. The joke was even a "skateboard with a motor on it"... With that said, he may have changed his "welcome" to pre-'72. I don't know. I do know I have been to every one of these car picnics in SF for about 20 years and the bikes and bikers have always been there...I agree though people who attend should be cool and fly right (Just like the "Angels" overhead)...
great photos its getting ready to snow here , so all we can do is enjoy the shared photos of warm climate events
