Neat old 32 Custom but Mr. St.James Davis should have hired someone to use that magic marker on his new paint.
That car belongs to Mr. St. James Davis a long time car guy in SoCal. A bunch of his buddies along with SoCal Speedshop redid the car for him following a terrible freak run in with a chimpanzee. Here are some pics and info from the unveiling at the SoCal Speed shop open house this past Father's Day: This was a restored hot rod they debuted at the open house. A group of guys restored it for a friend of theirs that was injured in a freak accident (not in the car). Sweet pipes! I may be wrong, but wasn't Carl Caspers the creator of that car ? Would have been late 60's to early/mid 70's . 41 Dave
I think you are pretty well correct. It was a well known show rod in that era. I'd have to go out in the milk house and dig in the archives to find one of the magazines or specials it was in then. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
