So I had to take a break from the 52 for a few months...kinda got burnt out ...so I decided to do a color change to a metallic silver and do a new look to get me by until Im ready for "real paint"... everything that is red is going purple and I just bought some cool hubcaps from a HAMBer to give my wheels a new look too.( havent received them yet ) Getting my chrome done next, then gl***... My grill was thrashed and even though I dont like painted grills, I went ahead and painted mine until I can afford a nice one.. not the best, but it does look better than it did... and with the color being silver, it wasnt too bad..:(
Anyways, just a quick update for my HAMB friends who have been asking. :)

I added a few pics of it after the sun goes down... kinda glows!:)

I know.. Ive thought about it! I still have a few body work issues to work out though... I was going to get those done before paint.. I am still going to throw some purple scallops on it, I already have my purple flaked steering wheel too. I think I'll try to find someone to do a little body work on the roof, and spray the top purple with flake.. I already have the material for it..

Looks cool to me. With those rear bumper ends are you making a tail light change, Lincoln or a Merc tail light maybe. I love '52 Chevy's the only thing, I dislike are the tail lights.

Love your ride. Cruiser hates the tail lights , I love em. But I could see a set of Packard taillights filling up all that space back there. Kool Ride!

Your car looks great, I must be the only one against the purple scallops.
Less is more, and it looks good now, maybe someone can photoshop some on there ?

  28. I like it just the way it is. I am with doc; no scallops.
