I'm heading out to the Pumpkin Run. Got a call last night from Jim Ireland (Hemi powered Plymouth coupe) and he said the JalopyRama is going to be a real small show but its indoors which is cool. There a a few thing happening that day and I had to choose. Varga Dragway is having thier reunion the same day. I always wanted to check that out. But, I always go to the Pumpkin Run so maybe next year.

Go to the show or spend the day getting my car back on the road and fulfilling my promise to Mrs gary55 (who lets me play in the garage unsupervised) to rake the leaves.

You must have a big yard if it takes all day to rake!

It should really feel like a 50's car show in the local armory with out the angel hair.

 

I think there is going to be hot rod parking outside as well as inside.

I can't make it but my father will have our roadster there, he's also bringing the P-38 wing tank , sounds like it's going to be pretty neat, sorta of like the old armory shows in the 60's.

The ole lady is having a fit about getting caught in the snow on the way back.
I told her that her big ugly tank will go in snow, but she's afraid some asshole will run into it.
That, and I'm broke.

 

I'm going to miss it even thought it's just a few miles from where I grew up. Halloween was my 10-year wedding anniversary and we're spending the weekend at a B&B in Frenchtown, NJ.
