Mines where Henry put it. Gas gauge works, I put a GOOD filter on it. and thats where its gona be. I had a 29 Roadster with saddle tanks, and while they were OK, I was not happy with the set up. But as already mentioned, you don't have a lot of places to go on a Model A. In my 71 yrs I don't remember hearing of one insident concerning Having the (gas tank in my lap) Pintos had it in the back and look at the bad rap they got. Where do you put gas tanks in a car thats really safe. Gas don't burn, only the vapor. Iceman
My '29 sedan tank is stock with a sbc and has been that way for 25 years, and I have pictures of the car from Oregon to South Carolina and all points in between in those 25 years.
Thanks Guys for the input, all points taken, and I think I am gonna keep it where it is, I have the later style steering coulmn mount in mine, so I am good there...So I think untill the kiddies don't wanna be seen with there parents anymore I will keep the rumble seat aswell too.... Ryan
