    All,
I need to have my 34 5W seat upholstered. Car is a Stock, un-chopped body set as a high boy with 48 Flathead. Car is black Lacquer. I'm open to everything from stock to custom. What would look cool? <O:p</O:p

    Let's see your Seats!

I have fond memories of the woven vinyl seat covers from the 50s sold at Pep Boys. I found a set cheap and had a guy resize them to fit the stock Deuce seat. Not everybody's ideal but I like it.:D These were seat covers not new upholstery.

The South of the Border blankets have been done to death,,so I used the material my mom bought in 1966 for curtins and my dad said,,not no,,, but Hell No!

Both of my parents had been dead a number of years and I ran across this bag of material in a closet when we were cleanig out the house,,took it home and tossed it in the gararge,,,

I was looking for something in the old gararge and saw the bag and discovered the long lost ugly material but thought it kinda matched my wheels on the 32 pickup,,and thought to myself,,hey,This will do until I get the right material,,and it hasn't changed yet,,but it will,,someday.

My friend Chopper say's it reminds him of it "Fruit Salad" :D HRP

Custom drop cloth look. It was actually pretty hard to find something that would not look too new to cover the seat that was missing. Yeah right.

Here's my chopped 34 coupe with a stock seat. It works well and is comfortable.

My neighbor's channeled but not chopped 32 5-window built in the San Francisco area in the 50's. The original builder drove it across the border to Tijuana and had the tuck-n-roll interior put in it in.

Some pictures of my dad's original style interior in his 34 ford 5 window coupe. Its an older bonney labarron kit he found here on the hamb. The other picture is of my old 32 coupe with modern vinal interior my dad also did. Enjoy

Airbone,Thanks for this thread. I'll be needin' an interior in the coupe sometime and this thread has helped me already. I tend to like the factory stich patterns on the doors but in Naugahide. California Kid,Jakes Coupe, and The Rod Grilles have them done that way.

    All,
This is some great inspiration; I like the stock form of the seat maybe with the tuck and roll style. Then again, stock tweed does look nice.

    Keep the pics coming!!

HRP, I like your choice of materiel. You'll NEVER see another one like it and it's a reminder of your parents. The story alone is worth the price of admission. Not often you get a win,win,win.............don't ever change it.
