    Norb,

The only part of this that concerns me is why did you say you had all the parts and would ship as soon as the money order cleared. Pretty sure you knew you wouldn't be able to.

I checked with Mack products on a bed for a deuce. No custom work other than 55 inch. I'll have to get it shortened to the length I want it. More money, ***embly. More money. I fiqure that by the time I get it bought, go get it 900 mile round trip (about equals out with crating and shipping but will get to the shop in good shape) Pay for it $2700.00 I will have about 4000.00 in the box. That is why Last Refuge is so enticing to the HAMB. Oh yea 4-6 weeks until it is ready

No one really knows how far we have come and how embarr***ing it really has been from time to time, not something to advertise. Most of my back orders have been filled, there are a few outstanding that I need to take care of. It is my number one goal. I know that in order to keep moving forward I will just have to take better care of each and every customer. At first it was just good enough to have something that people wanted, now I know that it also has to be done within a reasonable amount of time. I have gotten a lot out of this post. It has really helped with some soul searching questions, Even though it started by a customer mistake it has brought out my very real and ugly weaknesses. I need to be a better steward of the talents and resources that have been given to me and devote more of them to customer satisfaction and expectations. Raising prices has been on my mind as well but in this economy that is a risky deal. Filling a need while keeping the prices low has always been the reason for Last Refuge, hence the name. Finally I know I won't please everyone thats just a fact, and some will be very vocal and dedicated in exposing my failures, thats part of doing business in 2009. You take the good with the bad, learn from it and move forward.

having read this and several other posts that like to slam you i have just one thing to say
Be honest with your customers--you offer a great product at a great price and they will wait ..but keep lying they will go elsewhere
