Do you guys have any cheap alternatives to store bought headliner tack strip's ?? As I am unemployed I really don't want to pop about $100 for the store bought stuff.
I thought I had heard once that the side wall of old tires work, but they would be fairly short, I think if I could find a piece of old conveyor belt that might work good ?

    Thank's in advance

a fan belt. they come in all shapes and sizes. break out the razor blade and trim to fit. holds tacks and staples well.

  3. Leather is excellant....got a western tack store close? get a set of reigns...trims easy too...holds tacks or staples good..may need to stack them as 1/4 inch thickness works for me
