Gas tank sealer

Ive been building my own gas tank for the last two weeks.Actually modifying a boat tank.I was wondering what sealer to use.From cheap to what works.Thanks.

 

i have used the bill hirsch sealer on my econoline and it doesn't leak. i will use it again on my packard tank. tp tools is a nice company and they will ship it fast.

I've always had good luck with the POR-15 kit

 

I've used that stuff called Kreem in motorcycle tanks before and had good luck with it. They sell it at Harley dealerships etc.

Eastwood's sealer workes verry well also.

 

I had a lot of trouble out of the old fuel tank on my 52 - mainly due to rust, and finally got the POR-15 fuel tank restoration kit. I followed the directions and cleaned and sealed the tank. Well worth the money, time and effort I put into it. I haven't had one issue since. That POR-15 is some good stuff.

 

I have had success with Por-15 and Kreems. Kreems is red and looks pretty cool. There is a local radiator shop that uses it, and I usually just buy some from them when I need it.

 

recently used the KBS product, works awesome and looks good. and they ship the same day, actually had my order within 24 hours.
