clocking ih torsion bars to ride low ?

    its a 67 ih 1000. i flipped the rear and cranked down the torsion bars. i cut the bumpstops out to get maximum drop. obviously the front rides like **** cause there is no pressure on the torsion bars. anybody ever clock torsion bars to go low and have a decent ride?:confused:

    :confused:no one? i want to give it a try but wanted to see if anyone has done it.

    Unless you've removed wieght from the front end there is exactly the same load on the bars as before. All you've changed is the anchor point. Changing the anchor point does not change the spring rate of the bar.
