this dash was in my 29 roadster, i know its not factory, and i was wondering if any of you would recognize it. thanks Ben
i'm keeping it in it, i think im gonna fill in the top portion of the center cut out and put an old coke br*** bottle opener on it. it is too well made to not be a factory piece, i just cant figure out what it came from. should be pre 1944. my granddad bought it in the late 40's and never changed anything, and there was a los angeles times from 44 in the door, so im ***uming it was changed then
there were well over 1000 U.S. and canadian automakers in the early parts of the (last) century, many of which only produced a few cars. It's possible you may never find out... I'm interested to know seeing as it's been here for over a month and nobody's recognized it...
Here's a picture of a dash in a '35 Buick that has enough family resemblance to make me wonder if yours could be from a 32 or '33 and 'nother
thanks jim, your info led me to searching more on the buick, and i found that it was a 1934 buick 50 series sport dash. thanks again
