Looks like my clan are going , we'll just take carol's Fordoor so we can all get in , Roadster next time, tis going to be fun & bring back memories , I had my old green/purple flamed 32 Tudor there & on the cover of Rod & Custom with Bruce Meyer's roadster , many yrs ago.

 

Awesome! It's great to see this slice of history brought back to life...I went by the place shortly after it was demolished and I gotta say I thought that was the end...to see it look like this is incredible. I can't wait to get up there for a burger...

 

Freakin' awesome! Next time I am up there I am go roll in for a burger and a shake...way to go!

Here's some pics from the opening night- last night Monday October 19. If I remember right- my last visit to this place when it was a diner was on July 18, 1990, the last Mccullough Cruise Nite. Sadly that was also the last night my 56 Ford was running as the motor conked out then. I never got it running again and sold it in 97. Damn...I'm way more determined with getting things done then I was back then.

What time is everyone planing on being there today? Im thinking of coming down with the 59 providing I get out of work at a decent hour!

 

I am trying to get out of work early and head on down, maybe I will park my pile next to you...nice and close.

I will be there as well with the wife, my parents and a friend. We won't get there until around 7:30 or 8 due to work, but we will be there. I am looking forward to trying the food.

Scooter and I will be leaving @ 4:00 from Orange. We should be there @ 5:00.

John........not hardly......LOL.......Barb and I plan on hitting the road about 2:30,that should put us there about 3:30. Give us time to secure a good spot, check the joint out ,take some pics inside,and by then the rest of the gang should be piling in. Being retired gives me the freedom Whats wrong with your cars??? Dam man i cant believe that sweet Chevy isnt running .

 

Cool I will be there by 4:30, the Chevy is running I am in the middle of putting the AC in the car...Got to have it chilli for my trip to Texas....

Is there going to be a "standard" Cruise night like the ones I remember at Angelos in the 80's & 90's on Friday nights. Those cruise nights were so much fun...you never knew what was going to show up.

I think Thursday will be the "standard " night,this one is sorta a "kickoff" for the Hambers. At least thats what i heard
