New from the Heart of Texas

Howdy, from the great state of Texas. I just finished my first rat rod truck, well it will never be finished but at least I can drive it. I just took it to the Day of the Drags in Temple, Texas and put 450 miles on it so far. Funny, I have had classic cars, Harley's, etc but never had the heads turn like I do with this truck. So far I love the people, cars and culture that I have met. Everyone has been cool and helpful. Just wanted to have a place were I can chat with others.

Yea, there's alot guys here that don't like the r.. word, doesn't really bother me.

 

Oh yea the "R" word. I like it all but I know how some people view r_ _s as poorly put together cars or trucks. To me, it means a uniquely built car and trucks that can be done right.

Hey Easy, good to see you. I can't see the truck too well ,but I think I may have some pics of it in my album. As for the r word...if there were no rats at DOTD it wouldn't have been near as interesting.I think Hot Rod Bill's T for instance is tits and that hearse will be talked about for a LONG time lol.
