coupes and sedans have the same decklid,,,the quarter windows ARE longer than a coupe...definitely a sedan with the roof moved forward..

WTF does that mean? Cuz if I aint lookin' at cars, I am usually lookin' at ass! So is that a good thing or a bad thing?.
BTW the car looks like a sedan cjhopped to me too. But I like it?....:D

  6. on shoebox fords i was taught that a coupe has longer space between rear window and trunklid.

  7. There were 2dr Sedans and 4dr Sedans....and neither one is a Coupe. The coupes were all 2drs, either club coupes with a pivoting quarter window or business coupes with fixed quarter windows. Then there were Victorias in '51, (2drs that started out as convertibles before the hardtop was added at the factory).

Thats a business coupe, look how the sheetmetal is longer between the trunk and the back glass, has to be a business coupe.

  10. There are Three types of 2 doors. A 2 door Sedan, long side windows with wind wings. A 2 door coupe with small side windows and no wind wing. A 2 door business coupe with small side windows and no wind wings as well as no back sead or provisions to roll the rear side windows up or down.

Thats a 2 dr sedan. I just chopped mine 5 inches in front 5 and a half in the back. I cut it through the back glass and this moved the top forward 9 and a quarter inches forward. makes the trunk area look like a business coupe. I did away with the vent glass on the qtr glass and the door glass

Kustom7777, I hope you never have to put coupe deck lid on a 2dr. sedan. there will a lot of shortening to do.There is a large difference between the two.
