Has anyone else been taken by Charles Johnson of Louisville, KY? He advertised a taillight lens for a '53 pontiac, I sent him a Money Order drawn on Bank of America. He received it and that was the last I ever heard from him. $50 US in this economy is a lot of money. It's been over two months and not even a e-mail excuse. This clown is giving us all a bad name if he does it again.

Maybe the part is stuck at Canadian customs? Or perhaps one of them also has a '53 Pontiac with a broken lens?

Was the Check Cashed? if not , see if it can be cancelled.. If it was cashed.. get a copy of the cashed check from the bank.. then you have leverage..

Mail can be slow internationally, but with no contact how could you know ? I personally refuse international business because prosecution is difficult.

I've posted on this type of subject a few times, you said you had no contact with him? this maybe hard to do but I try to make sure someone is being a ******* and not having some serious issues before I start talkin. I've bad mouthed a guy a time ago and come to find out his old lady was in the hosp***al with some serious problems, I felt f#@%in horrible.

Theres nothing wrong with dealing internationally.. communication other than the internet is very important though.. by phone maybe.. we have people up here that cant be trusted too.. but close enough to deal with..

check the bank to see if your check was cashed.. if it was , then post ..

I just figured I was due. Bought over the Border before and always had good experiences - Karma says due for bad one. Only $50 for a bezel and backing plate was a good deal. Was unemployed when I bought it and had to save to get it. That's what hurt. Working now. Better mood. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Won't return e-mails though.
    Better luck next time.

Since you didn't mention his HAMB screen name I'll ***ume the purchase didn't transpire via the HAMB? If it did, contact Ryan directly.

If you bought from someone on the HAMB send Ryan a PM... instead of whining about it here. what are we supposed to do for you? tell you it's gonna be okay. maybe it will, maybe it won't. grab a tissue or tucks medicated pads, talk to Ryan. if it didn't happen here, then it's not our problem. This place is like f--kin' days of our lives anymore. sorry dude. life ****s. i feel better now

    Re-read his first sentence.

This guy got taken and doesn't have good contact info for the douche that took him for a ride. His first sentence is asking if anyone else had dealt with the guy. Since this is the HAMB it's possible someone else bought a HAMB friendly part from the guy and got taken too... and MAYBE that person has different contact info or could atleast tell him what happened, or how it was resolved.
