The car was leaving the line hard and pulling all the way thru the stripe. Bullet made a custom grind cam to work with my heads which are on the small side for the 505. It was my first time at the track with the new combination.... I improved my old 10.24 to a new 10.03 just by changing camshafts. I will never buy another off the shelf camshaft. I owe one to Bullet cams and Pro Systems Carbs. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PvtQKYwmAQ0&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PvtQKYwmAQ0&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Here you go, this is kind of uneventful. <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yhnamZFXDIk&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yhnamZFXDIk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
Damn holmes...just a tiny bit more traction and you will be in the 9s. Of course, you already know that... What is your 60ft? Love that little car. -Abone.
I watched Glen down the track, scared the **** out of me, and I was watchin. He kept improving every p***. Congrats Glen, it was a perfect night! You got mad skillz. You racing again tonight or the mesa cruiz?
Thanks for the kind words. The first burnout of the night needs to be a good one and I didnt do a good one, the new motor and HP definitely requires a better burnout, I used to just clean the tires off and be ready to go. I think were taking the Hayabusa to Mesa tonight.
Sweeeet, any pictures of the car? i'd love to see more. 10.0 is a nice place to be! carefull with the 9's or you will start gettin booted (NHRA rules) unless your already certified.
Way to go Glen !!!!..........I hope to get out this Sunday if the weather holds......but it will be about 50 degrees out.............Littleman
Thats some reious power. Many thanks man for the vidios.Gets me excited when she gets loose in the ***.
Cool videos. What camera are you using? I'm never seen such clear videos as yours in the in car shots.
its actually pretty heavy at 2570 w/o driver, the floor is bullet proof and ties the frame and cage together to make it very strong. Its a Flip camera they record great video in HD and their cheap...Ryan showed a sample about 6 months ago and i was sold, its mounted to the cage.
sweet i love it if you dont mind me askin how much does a custom grind run.ive been thinkin bout it for next engine just getting tired or off the shelf stuff that eveerybody has
I agree on the cams. I've got an old custom ground comp in mine and it gets RAUNCHY!!! No track times yet as it just got on the street.
Is that on a trans brake... what RPM's are you launching at looks like it is around 7k on the top end
Congrats on your progress Glen. Steve Hosting- Pontiac/Buick/Olds FALL FEST Sat Nov 28, 2009 Phoenix www.pbofallfest.org 8th annual Nostalgic Show & Go! April 11, 2010 Phoenix www.nostalgicshowandgo.org
