We are Hobb's Grove, one of the coolest haunted attractions ever...very rural, very real haunted forest, house and hayride with midway, good food, store, fire pits and entertainment. We were approached about doing a Rockabilly car show at our haunt cause the two would go together so well. It sounded good to us so we're doin' it. Halloween night, Sanger (near Fresno), we're lookin' for Rat Rodz, old school customs and the like and anything else that's cool. Registration is free and includes tix for 2 to all our events. 5 pm till Midnight...costume contest too with cash prises for both cars and costumes. The way cool band, Truly Lover Trio is coming up from LA to play their Rockabilly/Roy Orbison sound. Haunts, Music, Food and Beer, Cars, Costumes (your chance to dress to match your cars), just lots of fun. We've been chosen by Haunted Attraction Magazine as one of the top 25 Must See haunts in the country, one of only 2 in California, The Queen Mary being the other. The car show part is new to us but the two together at our location could be wicked cool! Go to hauntrodz.com for all the info. Hope to see you there.
I wont be able to attend as I have other committments. It looks like a GREAT time though. Sanger is a cool town with alot of old west type history. Logging the redwoods and such.
It is a cool town. They have a Trick or Treat gig downtown, two miles from the show, at 6:30 if anyone wants to take kids there.
Looks like good weather through Halloween. Dry camping is a go for those who can't make it home that night.
Been to the Attractions in the past and sceamed my guts outs. But thats not the only reason I'm going this year. We will be there just because we like the people, the style, and the cars, and its something that sounds fun to do on the best night besides Christmas. Count us in. we have a 31 5 window coupe that we will need to trailer over because the ****** is blown in it but oh well its still sounds like a great night of fun well worth the trouble of trailer it.
