They run 350-400 and their made on a billet core. I always run a cast iron gear or everwear gear so I dont have to run a bronze dist gear. Comp cams are cast unless the part number ends in -9

    www.bulletcams.com I use a guy named Tim.

Yes I use a trans brake it stalls to 5400 on the brake, but I have my two step box set at 4800. I have never tried to launch higher than 4800, I dont know if it would help or hurt it.

I run a 1000 CFM 4150 from Pro Systems, patrick's customer service is unbeatable, I have emailed him on Sundays, Holidays and he replies almost immediately. His receipt says something like " your customer service begins after you rcv your carb." Mine was spot on out of the box, all I did was set the idle RPM.

Glen, why will your car not pass tech for 9.99 ?.....if I remember you have a exstensive cage you welded in...is it the tube thickness? or tube placement not to their spec location.....I do know as soon as you hit 9.99 you need a chute and I believe a physical also and chassis certed and a license...along with other saftey items on the car..............I know I am not legal with my 8 point cage as soon as I broke 10.99 because my floor is altered from stock...but they are allowing me to run the rest of the year, which is only two more times if weather permits.........Littleman....it's time to finish DDS..

I dont know, I have never asked, to be honest I never thought I would get to 10.0.
I would have to add some bars because mine are technically not in the right spot.

I dont think you need a chute until you pass 150mph or 135mph in the 1/8th mile.

I know what you mean !!!....my truck was built for the street...first pass down the strip yielded a 15.99 or so....then It told myself I bet I can get it to go 14.99....then told myself 13.99, then 12.99 and got it down to 12.20's while driving it to work....then I wanted 11.99..then came the new bullet to do that...then I said 11.50's would be killer...well that only made me happy for a week...man 11.00's would be great...and I got to it.....then man it would be awsome to break into the 10's period........Then that was not good enough...and it sits @ 10.37 for the moment w/ allot more changes that could be made...but the Truck really is a street built Hotrod on a stock Model A boxed frame that is going thru hell each time I blast down the Track.........I think it's the end of the road for it in the next couple of weeks.............It truely is a disease and a whole lot of work and dedication..........Hope to hear you click off that 9.99 soon...........I think I can stop now and walk away, only because I know if I chose to run the Truck next year and do alittle more work I know I would get my 9.99, but time to move on, this Truck sucks up all my time and energy..I just cannot stop, my house needs work because I have not touched it since the journey w/ the Truck...Littleman

You may be correct about the chute...

Congrats Glen!!! I know how hard it is to break into the nines. Been knocking on the door for years. Think I'm ready now. Just gotta white knuckle it 'till the track reopens in the spring... Until then, you'll have to have my share of the fun.

the nostalgia race is November 15th at Speedworld on the west side of town.

if you think that quality is good, wait til you see the actual video on your computer.....you tube destroys the quality of the video. Ryan put a fish eye lens on his for a wide view.

Very cool car , I have a observation ,on the 10.03 pass it looks like the car spun the tire . I would turn the header away from the tire ,you could also pick up a bunch by covering the chute in the roof, just my 2 cents:)

Alright, you're getting called out. I'm gonna try like hell to bring my heap to Speedworld. Tell Justin to fill his bottles if he wants some too. :D

We need to set up some match races. Heads up, Pro Tree.

Were the runs last night for the funny car qualifying at Firebird? I was thinking of going but didn't think they'd have much time for other cars.

Congrats on the great runs. Ya'll have it going on in the Az.

There better be a ton of videos from the Shakey Puddin' vs. Sneaky Tiki vs. Glen matchups. Wish I could get out there to watch ya'll run.

Glen, your car just might pass 9.99 tech. I don't know your car so it's hard for me to say. Basically, depending on how they classify your car is how they will determine your chassis cert. Outside of that they go through all required SFI components and verify expiration dates and that you have all the required pieces. In the back of the 09' NHRA Rulebook (page 287) is a quick reference chart of the required pieces, it's a good place to start. After all that crap is done LET IT EAT!!! Hell, let it eat anyway!

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That is some awesome video. Made my night.

I watched the first one and immediately thought to myself, "I need to see some in car video of that". Scrolled down and inch or two and, there it was!

    NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I plan to have a local NHRA inspector look at it, I have all the SFI stuff so the money is spent, maybe with some labor I can get it cert'd. I would also have to get it to run in the 9's consistently to get my license pass and I haven't even hit the 9's yet.

Yes, a couple of things added up to that. 1. I drove the car on the street at the Central Cruise two weeks ago and cleaned the VHT off the tires. 2. I didnt do a very long burnout and it was the first pass of the night....even M/T's site says the first burnout of the night should be a good one.
The carmera is the Mino HD, use the search function and find Ryan's post, he did a little mini tech on it.
