I have the original rearend on my '54 chevy p/u and im swapping it with a '74 rearend out of a camaro. Does anybody know if i have to move the new rearend back for clearance because i was told that it might sit a little forward and i would have to place it back 1.5 inches. Any advice would help, thanks again.

hello 141, i dont think its possible on this model unless i also wanted to cover up the holesfrom the original bolt pattern i was told something long the lines that i would have to drill a hole through the leaf spring to set it back. thanks again.

Im looking for a rearend for my 57 GMC Pickup; I was curious why you selected the 74 Camaro rearend? I have a 78 Camaro front end clip and was considering a Camaro rearend.
