Well after going halfway across the country we finally made it back with my father-in-laws new project. Even though it has extra doors it was too nice to p*** up.
Cool, did it come from South Dakota? We ran into some dudes from "T" when we were picking up a car ourselves in that area. Love these in the more door mode, they are gorgeous!! Good luck with the project! ~Sololobo~
'34 four doors could be the coolest 4 doors ever made. I like them. Good find and good luck with the project.
Body/sheetmetal work is not my strong point but I'd be tempted to tackle that one. Take your time and that's going to be one super driver. Be sure to post the progress. Frank
I agree, 34 4-doors look great, but I think they look best un-chopped. Mike Demerest had one that he ran as a compe***ion fuel sedan, with an injected Chrysler...unchopped, and full-fendered...never forgot it and how cool it looked.
I guess I meant we found it in a field instead of the usual "barn find". And yes it is actually a 33 with a 34 door in place on the drivers side. Thanks for the comments. My father-in-law is (4ever18) on here, but I beat him to the punch for posting it. Thought you guys might enjoy the pictures.
Nice find. I think 32-34 Ford Fordors are the best looking 4drs ever produced. I am currently building a '33 Fordor that I bought at a farm auction for $150. Of course that was 1993, but I just couldn't p*** it up. Be sure he keeps up posted on the build. How and where did you find it?
Holy ****! LOOK at all that GREAT metal! I wish I lived there and could just drive around ALL the time LOOKIN' fer stuff!!!!!!
I live in East Tennesse in the Tri-cities. (Kingsport,Bristol,Johnson City area), the car itself came out of Oklahoma. A pretty long drive from here. It was a fun trip though. He found the car on Ebay, but it didn't sell so he called the guy and bought it. It was a nice score I thought.
Kennedy sold one about that good a month ago. He is an hour this side of Memphis. Keep us posted. I'm anxious to see how it comes together. Jim
