vintage John Deere tractor find

    There is a tractor that has been near the train station for the longest time. I think this is my 3rd time going over to it and my 1st time bringing a camera.

    for a time i thought it was a steam motor but its a 2cyl

    I love the grille on it.
    the tractor slightly looks like Chris's 29 roadster[​IMG]
    these rims remind me of 12 spoke g***er rims

    I do not know anything about this company "Wilco" or "Wico" I don't know but it does look good[​IMG]
    i think this might be ash I really don't know

    this spark plug was just siting out on it

    If you did not see in the first shots it says John Deere on the axle

    and this is wear it still stays

    WICO (say Why-co) was a Magneto manufacturer, may still be. They made mags for many hot rod engines as well as stock stuff for industry.

    I believe ( if memory serves me) its a John Deere Model A styled tractor with electric start...the hole between the hood and dash panel would be where the battery would go..styled would be from 1939 up...d32

    I concur. Based on the front wheel style, I would say it is an early styled model. Yard art as it sits.

    ????I just joined and in the "Terms of use" it said "traditional hotrods" HHHMMM Hotrod tractor!! LOL.....
