We went to pull an engine that was supposed to be a 302 from a truck but a few years ago when the engine was rebuilt, I guess the 302 was hoodwinked. But we figured the 235 is a good engine and has a fair amount of parts support so we brought it home anyway. Not sure about Dlux but I've got too much going on tomorrow to make it down to bako.
well went out second round but have a new best ET of 13.60 @96mph now gotta get that 200 ready to go for next year and find a closer ratio ******
PM my dad "toymaker" greasel we might have found a ch***is with a spare 235 for a good price i mean a good price buddy

BREAKING them!!?? which ones are you using? What's breaking? they're not terribly scarce around here, I've run across several in the last year or so. Shipping would kill you though.
Not me, we're gonna run a '34 Dodge top shifter to go with the vintage Mopar power. Lee is the trans abuser.
No actual update. Car's under its tarp 'til after the parade of course, but I have been hammering out the work list for next season between welds. It just keeps getting longer for some obscure reason. Should be in the 8 sec range if I can get all of it done by March. Where's a "tongue in cheek" icon when you need one? Seriously, I took two days off for Thanksgiving and was back to the barn Friday. Today we finally got started on "closing" (enclosing the steel work in the various materials we cover it up with) in preperation for our third and final street test. That's the first step in bringing it to visual three dimensonality, when normal folks can begin to see what it'll come out like. Also seriously, the Barn Job hasn't been out of my mind. I have (as claimed) been devoting skull time to it's future during the more repe***ive of the float work (I'm genetically incapable of only doing one thing at a time anyway). We're hoping to keep'er in the 12s next season.
Parts have arrived....An automotive machine shop visited...I need to sell a car to finance doing everything I want to do. It looks like I'll have it in an indoor rod & custom show in the spring.
