I have an original 37 Ford windshield frame from a standard model (painted). The center divider has a raised rolled peak, sort of like an 1/8" round rod ontop of the pressed piece. Can anyone tell me if the deluxe model (chrome) used the same shaped piece in stainless or if the deluxe piece is just sort of domed, no raised rolled peak. A picture of the correct one would be great. I can put a pic on of what I have if that helps clarify my description. Thanks, Bill

I believe they did have the same piece you are describing. Mine had one on a chrome frame, deluxe car. When I chromed the frame I did not re-install the piece as the center bar looked very good after new chrome. And yes the piece is stainless.
