Started this car project for our own "emiliedk"
It has been a long and winding road.
And we still have a bit to go.But it will all be worth it.

I'll try to put together pictures and a story that makes some sense.
(Don't know how to do string the pictures with captions underneath)

The build started with building a little 32 ch***is,using mostly old parts.

Found the old Ford frame center at a local yard.
Disected it,and went for a early moc up.

At first we had repop rails and real old Ford center,Model A rear x-member
and original front I paid way to much for (**** happens)

But wait,I find a set of original 1932 rails local. Look real nice...
But after getting them back from the sand blaster..way bad pits under all the paint
    and a splice....s**** that idea.

So marching forward, get going on the frame using repop rails.

The plan is to keep it simple. All factory holes showing in the frame.
Will add rivits where they were stock. Not trying to be flashy.
But I can't help myself. The frame is getting boxed,It'll need it with the motor
(wait I'll get there) (the ***le I bet you can guess)
So I call up my buddy Matt at Ionia and get some plates...

I can already tell this is going to take awhile.
children name your pictures files with names that make sense !

We came to the conclusion,if we're shipping a rolling ch***is over seas..
Oh, yes rolling ch***is is the plan here.
ought to have a body bolted on. right?

One call to John in Kansas and a "short" drive (hey Kansas is just the next state over)
We have ourselves a brand new Brookville body.

this ain't gonna happen all at once here...and it's going to be ****tered..

Half the battle but most the fun has been finding all the old Ford parts needed.
Found (bought) the nicest 1932 grill shell I've ever had from a Denver Roadsters member.
Hope the details show in the pic's..

    Let's see..the motor.
Got ourselves a NOS Cadillac flathead V-8.
a nice old guy in PA who owned a GM dealership had this under his bench
for 50 years? and his buddy built a hell of a crate.
Picked it up at the trucking depot down the street.
Had them sit in near the tailgate.. easier to reach with cherry picker

On the way home people on the freeway do a crazy panic stop.
(was that a dust bunny? hit the brakes Norm!)
I stop just fine, then WHAM ! I swear a Honda ate my rear bumper.
Nope, the crate slid forward and smashed in the rear bed wall..

Note to self;tie down heavy stuff too

Ah ****, stop being so casual with the parts descriptions! They are a beautiful looking collection of pieces. I'm looking forward to this.

Eric, could you shoot me a closeup of the rocker reveal, bottom of the doors area please. Need it for reference. Thanks.
