I started on this car awhile ago but have been doing other peoples cars off & on. I finally feel like Im seeing the light at the end of the rust hole. I have replaced the bottom six inches around the entire car, the entire floor from the toe boards to the back seat. I patched both sides under the quarter windows and finally getting to do a little kustomzing the fun stuff. Just thought Id share. Jump ahead this is what it looked like this weekend. I added some 49 buick taillights and a 54 chevy front bumper.
This picture hurt me. your right on line. Keep it up I can't wait to see this one on the road. Happy Trails, Mick
Looks good...they fit well... BTW, I have a pair of those buckets if anyone is interested...no lenses or trim...but the buckets are good...$25.00 plus shipping and they are yours. R-
Ian, Bryan (Rusk) and Adrian from the Los Cochinos have been a big part of my new obssesion with these kustoms! Thanks for the inspiration and all the posts!
What trans is that. Can u send me some good pics of ur floor front to back.Im doing my floor and the body is off the frame and I am trying to figure out how much I need to raise my floor to clear a 700r and to clear the driveshaft when laying rocker. Thanks Ben hotrodk5@hotmail.com
SWEET! Its gonna take 10 gallons of paint to cover all that sheet metal.. A 51 is my next project. Nice work!
cool design, but very poor execution on that below the trunk area. that's gonna take quite a bit of mud to finish off .
The '49 Buick tail lights really look cool on chevy's. Here some from another thread on a Fleetline. CRUISER
