SEMA 2009 Roll Call - Anyone going to Las Vegas?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here plans on being at SEMA. This will be my 5th time and I wonder how the turn out will be with the economy. I'll most likely be hanging with Chris Jacobs and the HUB crew a bit, but he'll be running around interviewing and in the meantime I'll be walking around shooting cars and booth babes. Anyone, Bulller, anyone?...

 

Chris isnt going to make it this year as he is busy filming for his new job on Insider. we will be there.

WE WILL BE HAVING A PRESS CONFERENCE in the MEDIA CENTER on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM.

One member of the media in attendance will win a hand painted piece of automotive art created by “East Coast” Artie Schilling.

Announcements:
- Right Coast will be unveiling our 2010 Give-Away vehicle built by Lenny Schaeffer of Chop-Shop Customs in Woburn, MA.
The vehicle (currently under construction) will be given away to one lucky car owner at the 2010 Syracuse Nationals car show in July. Lenny Schaeffer will be on hand to answer questions.
- Right Coast will also be announcing the inaugural Winfield Award. The prestigious award for automotive excellence will be presented by master car customizer and builder Gene Winfield. Gene Winfield will be on hand to answer questions.
- Finally, Right Coast is proud to announce its total charitable contributions for the past ten years has totaled over $360,000. Artie Schilling will be on hand to answer questions, and to draw the winner at the conclusion of the conference.

Just sitting here, waiting for my ride to the airport!

 

The weather here is going to be outstanding this week, all you visitors will have a great time. Like 80 daytime, not a cloud in the sky, and its 77 degrees now at 6pm.

At least one of the display cars was at the SoCal open house today, a diesel powered ratrod sedan with twin turbo's, one feeding into the other, try more boost ! Transported on a gigantic retro flabed, all turbo diesel, and both these vehicles had great workmanship in them.

first time for me and the wife. we'll be there tuesday morning and leave friday. i'll have my HAMB shirt on for sure. might try to make the meet and greet if possible.

Wanting to plan ahead for next year but need for someone to point me in the right direction.

 

well- you have to be part of the industry to get the,- you sign up online with your business info ,pay a fee and they send them to you or have you pick them up at the show.
I do know they have determined to crack down on people getting them from bsuinesses when they dotn actually work there- and are looking into soem new system to confirm'real' employees - but I dont know what that is...
You cant just show up- its a TRADE SHOW
