I can picture old Henry Ford sitting up in heaven (or wherever he ended up) thinking "DAM a rumble seat in a pickup bed why didn't I think of that myself". Good innovation right there.

That rumblebox(tm) is cool. Great idea. Can I have a ride someday?

Neal, Love that pix of the RPU by the Golden Gate bridge. You should have someone photoshop the light poles out of the background. Love the rumblebox idea !

Wow, that GG Bridge photo is pro quality. Something you would see in book of awesome hot rods.

Incredible build all the way through.

I have the same exact riser as you describe...I put that in when I tapped into the drain. I think the problem was with the stock pick-up tube coming out the side of the tank (it's a 41-48 Ford car tank). Maybe a pinhole, ****ing air and losing prime. It's not trash in the tank...I have drained the tank several times and it is crystal clear.

Thanks...the goal was to try and make it look like something Henry woulda done. I had both a 32 3W and a Vicky floor pan available. Since space was at such a premium, neither would accomodate all that had to fit in. I started to build a pan from ****ch, then found some 32 ad Model A floor pan peices at a swapmeet and they ended up fitting the bill. When pieceing them together, I tried to pick up some of the details of the 3W and Vicky pans to make it look legit 32 Ford.

    Sure can!

Yes I did. Did you notice the fogged up windshield...and the clear spot I was wiping to see through...fun in the coastal fog with no wipers. :)
