    Looks good Alan, I finally registgered so I could check it out. Dibs on the grille if you leave it out. I'll talk to you this week, hopefully I'll get by the junkyard and see what I can see rear window-wise. I'll talk to you bro.

    ITS ALIVE ..... sorta..

    spent the day yesterday with a mission to get it wired up to run again and after hours of messing around with wires it finnaly fired up and roared :)
    now i just gotta figure out why my stater solenoid deal is sorta sticking

    im by no means a mess around with wires type of guy and always dreaded this important step,,but with plenty of time (LOTS OF TIME) and a basic diagram it can be done
    thanks Fat Hack for the wiring tech that i read a billion times

    just a few more things on my list that i need to do and this car will finally see the road again

    hey finally a lil update,,,things have been hectic lately so very lil time to work on it and trying to get it goin before Dixie Fried

    1st i had to move it because of stupid code enforcement ,,,
    starter solenoid is fixed,,finishing up my wiring and plumbing,,got my lights working,,new shoes on it,, i gotta fab up a brake pedal and run my lines then i should be able to go for a test run,,,
    had to take a brake for a week cus now im a papa to a lil baby girl and gotta do my best,hope she'll like hotrods when she gets older

    UPDATE !!! been really busy with my new baby girl

    and at work,,so i Finally got two solid days of sunshine work my ranfla this weekend..
    future inlaws let me put it in the drive way on nice solid ground (woo-hoo no more dirt n grass)

    got it running completly on its own power, for a while i thought i messed something up but it finally started to crank again,moved a few things checked my grounds and IT LIVES!!!

    ran my brake lines and have been chasing down leaks for a while now.
    one stops then another starts,then the same again and again,, but im getting closer and closer thats all

  6. Did you bead blast all of the suspension pieces or is that just spray paint? It looks super good!

    no bead blast just

    chisels and about 5 steel braided grinders till i got it bare then painted it

    '53's looking good, Makes me want to get my lazy but back in gear with my '54 Poncho. Keep posting pictures!!!
