anyone have pics of a 1947 chevy coupe with chops in progress. i am thinking of chopping one but am after High School Confidential look with the filled rear window. Maybe not so much now i am digging the 5 window look...Thanks.
Here's a few pictures of Shane Savage's High School Confidential style Chevy. This car has been one of my local favorites for quite a few years. This car is a mover and a shaker. She flat gets down the road, and it is driven--all over the place! E
Here is my 47 but I have not worked on it for awhile. http://picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/16079011
that 1941 is exactly what i want to do.anyone know who did the chop? any more info on it? brownsmetal, RON, awsome work i am inspired!!!
That '41 was chopped by Paul Garland, a Sacramento guy who's chopped a bunch of cars in this area. The chop is mild, 3" in the front and 3.25" in the rear. As you might be able to tell by the pics, the rear window surround was cut out and moved forward, and barely leaned to meet the top. The B pillars were re-worked for a better shape and flow with the new profile. Bryan

WOW look at that...A pic of me and my old 41, Should have never sold that car! Paul did a great job with that chop!
cool car... its been chopped and sectioned but it wasnt build by goolsby customs. it was built by B.A. rodz and kustomz for goolsby customs.
It's great to see that car finished up nice. I was so bummed when Paul got rid of it - I never even got to see it in-person. He did a stellar job on the chop.
I used to own the one that wasn't crushed...sold it back to Barris, it is now in Sweden, all restored and red....Les in Minnesota
