there is a little outside bar by Caesars (as you from the monorial into the hotel) thats pretty cool (small) and almost always empty.its outside so smokers would like that.Maybe there? IM not sure if they serve anythng other than girly frozen drinks though (their website didnt say) Its called the Spanish Steps bar

I like Tuesday night at the Hilton as it is convenient for everyone, as you suggest Lennie. The bar over by the gaming tables in the main casino looks as if it could handle a few HAMBers. Does 5:00 sound okay? The show has closed and everyone should be ready to get a liquid refreshment by then. Who's in???

The Hilton is next to the convention center.
Sahara is about a 1/2 mile down the road.

First year for me as a buyer/business owner. Last 10 or so years as an exhibitor (Standard Abrasives).

Looking forward to being free to walk the show.

There's a couple of bars along the main halllway between the Hilton Casino & the hall(s), so I assume that you mean that as a meeting place.

    Seeya there.

I'll be staying at the Hilton. There are two bars in the casino area. The 8th pole looks like the best bet.

    5pm sounds good ....

Yes, the Eight Pole is the bar that I'm thinking of. Straight back from the main entrance. 7:00 sounds good to me. Gives everyone a chance to relax a little from the rigors of the SEMA show!

Now, all we need to do is figure out how we recognize each other as members of the HAMB family. My suggestion is to use the name tags that SEMA issues to everyone that gets into the show, and to just insert a homemade name tag that spells out "HAMB" and your name. We'll be able to see those and easily identify our members. Once the group starts to form it will be easy to get everyone together. Just a thought. Anyone got any other ideas?

As soon as the show ends, most of the crowd files down the hall past the Plaza Bar & Zen Lounge. They fill up quickly.

The Cantina is 1/2 way to BFE from where the exhibition halls are, so I'd suggest the 8th Pole for a couple of "pops".
