the kids and I in shop cl*** are building a go-cart. The front spindle is a tube with flange bushings slid into the ends. There is a little slop between the o.d. of the bushing and the i.d. of the tube. I was thinking we could drill and tap a hole and run a set screw into the tube to take up the slack, would this be okay to do or should I not even worry about the slop? Our machining skills arent quite up to boring a tube and making the bushing a tight press fit...thanks-
