Yup - just got a text from Sara The first surgery wemt well today - the big one is tomorrow but it was planned for anyway. She will probably be in the hospital for a week afterwards. She wants to p*** along to everyone thanks for the well wishes - she really appreciated everyone thinking of her. She can't get on the HAMB but wanted one of us to p*** along the update and thanks.
OK just got another text. The second surgery has been postponed until Friday, so she can have visitors tomorrorow if anyone is in the area. She's on the 4th floor in ICU so she said to call first b/c the hours are funky.
what the? Man. I duck out for a couple of weeks to get my head on straight, and this is what I come back to? Tell Sara that Lux DEMANDED she get better. and tell the offending device it has an *** whippin coming at the drags next year. little *******.
DW, thanx for the update. i went by last night and she was her usual bright cheery self. of course that was before the surgeries began. let's all pray she's doing as well tomorrow. AND next week. i'll try to get by there tomorrow and give you folks another update.
