[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] Does anybody out there recognize this 32 Ford that came from Sioux City area? Am told it was a local car, had raced at S.C.Dragway airport/dragstrip, in the late 1960's. Talked to Bob Coney old dragstrip owner, he said three or four 32 coupes from north of Sioux City, would come down in the late 60's to race at his strip, though he didn't remember this car. It was owned by a Leo Trobaugh for 34 years, we have owned it about six years now. Am guessing from present look, car back then might have been dark blue, had Firestone 500 slicks and front tires, unique handmade traction bars, Hurst shifter still there.Car is now second paint-at least-dark maroon. Pics of car racing at dragstrip are in hallway of airport/dragstrip we were told, also pics hang on wall of local bar hangout for racers of area. One person said car had big block motor when it raced-late 60's.
