Barn Find...Iraq style 04.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 2ndchancepremier, Oct 29, 2009.

  1. I did a search on this topic...and promised lincolncontinental2003 I would post them when I finally got around to digging them out. I havent looked at these images for some time, had to trawl through countless photos to find em, some good some bad...so here goes.

I was away with a few other blokes from Australia doing some jobs in Baghdad in '04. I was shown these by there guardian...hired to protect them for Ali Babah who would have pinched the lot in an instant.

Im not sure if they are still there...my only hope is that they havent been messed with, smashed up, blew up or like that.

I fell in love with the Cad and the roadster...offered money for them but no dice.

    The photos speak for themselves...enjoy;)

Wild stuff looks like thay are in very good shape. The roadster looks like it has the step for a rumble seat but has a trunk.

About as rust free as you can get I'll bet. Are the windshields sandblasted from driving around in all that sand?

  7. In case y'all don't know, back in the 2003 time frame, scores of vintage cars were crushed by the coalition forces so they couldn't be used for IED bomb carriers.
