What a time-warp photo. And love the shoes. He drove in those.
I can identify three of the above--the grumpy guy on the left, the polite one on the right and of course, Linda. Not sure on the guy in the middle.

I met Linda Vaughn briefly at the CHRR this year and all I can say is WOW!
The lady radiated class and beauty and had all the time in the world for anyone that wanted to talk to her,what a great person!

 

Skinner's first name is actually Roberto.

 

And all this time I thought Roberto was just what Baskerville called him.

 

Yeah, my mom & dad always just called him "Skinner" and it wasn't until the early 90's that we found out that "Bob" was short for Roberto...

 

c'mon...they, I mean she, is looking great!

Good to see such a wide variety of photos etc of Miss Hurst...Linda Vaughn....I have been in touch with her recently.

She is an icon in the industry and very gracious person......Still attends several major events all year.

The one rare magazine she was featured in was Heres Linda.....

Its amazing so much of what Hurst did has with stood the test of time....

"This shot was a starting line interview at the 66 March Meet. Year I wore the Purple suits. Hurst debuted their twin Olds-powered 442 (the "Hairy Olds) there and Shubeck was the driver. He was "delivered" there in a helicopter wearing a very "formal" tux-style firesuit! All that to expand on his persona as "Gentleman" Joe Schubeck.

 

This is wrong I can't see her face!

 

(Sigh) Ah yes...purple, what a very lovely color...among other things.
