Carried my HA/GR to the Florida Billetproof Drags yesterday and had a blast. Had several people approach me and ask about the car.
So hopefully there will be some more being built in Florida.
I know of one in the process in Alabama. He was at the HAMB drags back in August for the first time and we talked and he expressed some interest. He pulled his Corvette down to the Billetproof drags and we talked some more. He already has the ch***is built and has the motor and ****** to go in it.
Slowly but surely these "high dollar" cars are coming out of the woodwork!!
Lookout California, we may be catching up to you in the future. Ya'll can not have all the fun!!

    Robert,
I've see quite a few nice pics of your car at the event. Looking good!

bobw, it may look good but it still not running where I want it to.
I'll be pulling it down this winter and making a few changes to see if I can get it to run a bit faster.
It is still a blast to drive, but I need to either lose some weight or gain some horsepower.

Based on your avatar pic, it looks like you can use some sort of posi.:D
I recieved quite a bit of information over on the Slant Six.org web site regarding engine modifications. I'll be doing what I can afford, this winter.
    Good luck on adding horsepower.

Your food will taste a lot better if you decide to add horsepower instead of losing weight.

At my age I can get by on the nutrition that is in the air. Darn near impossible to lose weight. See what you'all have to look forward to? So, yes, add horsepower. It's only money. Besides, once you start spending on the engine there won't be much moola left for food, so you could lose weight in the bargain.:D

If I can find a trac loc for this rear, I plan on adding that. If I can find one cheap enough that is.
They do not make a mini spool for 19 spline axles that I can find anywhere.
I also plan on adding some compression this next year and see what that does.
As far as me losing the weight, that will not happen. It took me 57 years to get to this point, no sense in losing it now!!

you can live top ramen throw and in a hot dog and mac n cheese and it's feast for like 3 bucks. Get some t bird wine and the price only goes up about a buck. You know the answer to all your problems is in the bottem of the bottle. Just buy another bottle!!

Thingy, it is an early model dana 44 out of a Jeep.
I have thought about trying to replace the axles with later model, but they are both a different length.
I have run across several trac locks on evil bay, but they want $200-$300 for them. I bought a mini spool for it before I found out that it was a 19 spline axle. They only make the mini spools for 31 spline axles.
I thought I might have a problem with these 19 spline, but so far after three years, they seem to hold up fine.
I'll keep looking and find something.
The picture in my avatar is a little misleading, I'm coming out of the water box at Mokan when it is lighting the one tire up. On the road in front of my house (test/tune track:eek:), it seems to spin both tires the same distance. It is probably not doing the same thing on the track.
