Hello Hambers, My name is Scott. I'm 31 years old from East Baltimore, MD and I've loved hot rods and customs since I was a kid.I currently own a 427 powered 1959 El Camino. I love the hot rod culture events and usually make it to most of the them in my area (Mobtown Greaseball, Hot Rod Hoedown, and JalopyRama,)Hope to meet new people and make new friends on here and to put a name to a face when I go to events. How's that Spike?

Nice ride!! That bike needs a fat tire on the rear to match that 750 gallon tank. Welcome to the HAMB...many good people on board here.
thanks for the welcome guys! it feels good to be here. FYI: just so you know the bike pictured is not mine and yes, it needs a fat tire
Welcome. I saw your elky (actually, I heard it first ) in the parking lot at the JalopyRama. Nice. FYI, the intro policy is to keep the rif-raf out.
hey FeO2 , what part of MD are you from? I grew up on the Eastern Shore, then moved back to Pasadena, in 98 to be closer to family. Now i just bought a home and reside east of baltimore in the Overlea area. (near white marsh mall)
I have always heard the rear end of the 59's will lift up at high speed. Yours is probally able to hit some high speeds with that 427.It looks killer.
Yeah, welcome from another 59 Elky owner/addict. Between my best friend and myself, we have four of those ugly trucks Yours looks a lot like my last one which now lives in TX. Neat scooter, too. Fins and v-twins rule mid-tenn mike Poor Boys CC TN
thanks 54BOMB, someone was telling me about the rear lifting and that's why they changed the wing style for the 1960 chevy. Earl Schieb, hello there 59 Elky owner! Good to hear from other 59 wing elky addicts. I found mine 3,000 miles away in Fremont, CA back in 2002.It was an unfinished project that was stripped down to the metal and all apart when I picked up on it.only thing completed was the entire ch***is and drivetrain.
very nice ride.....i had a 57 ranchero....damn i miss that car....kewl bike to....how big are those tanks anyway?
......I'm up here in Abingdon. Grew up in Es*** / Middle River area. Don't mind Spike. He ain't been the same since the Pak Rats gave him a jacket.........

Nice!! Man, I have to appologize. I've been grumpy lately. But thanks for posting an intro. I saw your Camino at the Greaseball. It may be in the coverage I did for CKD. That thing is cool. Makes me wish I had gone to the Jalopy-Rama. Spike

Hey there! Glad to see you got your *** over here... I didn't know you live in Overlea, I'm just up the road in Perry Hall. Welcome to the HAMB. Stay away from that guy in the yellow coupe, he's trouble... Stacey
Hey guys thanks for all the cudos on the Jalopyrama. I was in the planning stages for over a year putting it together. Sounds like I did a good job. Had a few other guys, The Rusty Nuts (as I call us) helping out too. There will be a 2nd Jalopyrama and I hope to get some video on the web site as soon as I can. Thanks again and see ya', Shoob
Shoob- Post an intro if you haven't already. Damn..thats three in one post. This place must be slacking off. And thanks for the invite. Spike
