    Latest update,

We decided to put the medium cam we bought in for the August ANRA meet. We kept the single two barrel on for that one and managed a stronger ( but still ****ping some) engine out of the combo. Unfortunately the tires now aren't holding things down as well and we spent a bit too much time spinning'em rather than racing'em.

So we decided to go ahead with the head work and try out the latest SU changes we'd dreamed up for Rocky's new Eagle Field meet.
All the patient work's finally paid off. She ran strong as the proverbial ox and lost due to way too much time spent toasting the old hides. The top end is there on tap now and she lit'em in second as well in Eagle's 1/8th miler. I've no doubt she'd light'em in third there too.
Our losing trophy race's here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9rkF9nTcKA

Next up it's back to Famoso's 1/4 mile for Butch's ANRA final, our season closer. We'll try to have some better biggies on'er for this one, I'll let you know .......

I'm also seriously behind with the photo album and promise to bring it up to date before the year's out.

    ****,
I'm so glad there was people there making videos of the action. Takes us older guys back to when we raced in the mid to late 50's.
The video of the trophy run between you and Rocky's car is beautiful. If that doesn't stimulate folks into wanting to build, nothing will.
Bakersfield must do a fair amount of starting line prep. You could get your refenge there. GO SLANTS!!!

Bob.. Bakersfield is one of the best prep'd tracks around, Bar none..We are going there this coming weekend for the CHRR..Gonna be playing with some Nitro this time..But can't wait till I can get my HA/GR car there..The starting line is so sticky, That if your shoes aren't tied, you'll walk out of them.....

Yeah, Lee and I have been swapping views of each other's pumpkin all season.

It doesn't help that we're tied for second (and only 20 points behind first, so it's all up there) in ANRA's Open Wheel cl*** either. (where's a manic slavering icon when you need it)

The 25th'll be it for the year, and I think it'd be fair to say we're both rather intent on it. :D

Well, I have to whether I can or not. :(

However the ol' mind is festering with things I want to do when I can get back to it. Hell, if I get even a quarter of'em done it'll be a miracle. :D
