I would like to buy a set of lowering coils for my '62 impala but i am unsure of how low to go. Can you guys and gals send me some pictures of your lowered early 60's chevy with how many inches of drop coils you used? I have cut springs right now (coil and a half) and am not happy with the ride or the noise they provide. If this info can be found elsewhere please direct me to it. Thank you all for your time.

This is my 61, Go with an air bag set up the more you cut your springs the worse your ride will get.

I don't have the coin for bags and i would rather have the juice. No coin for that either. I just want a set of ready-made lowered coils for now. No more cutting.

I vote air too, I managed to bag my '63 for about $500. (I had a lot of parts laying around from my s10 though)

Here's a crappy cell pic of my '63. I can't get a good one of it painted since it's tucked away in the garage now.

I have around 500$ In my set up on my 63, I had the bags and a 5 gallon tank. I ordered the bag brackets, manual switch panel w/t gauge, all the plumbing, Viair compressor and odds and ends. Buddy's come in handy with needed parts. Might as well not waste the money on springs because your just gonna want to go lower. Waite and save up to get adjustable suspension. Been there!
Sorry I just saw you would rather have hydros. Try Cool Cars. They are perdy affordable.[IMG]
