i bought this body that had the doors, decklid and part of the frame.the frame was whacked at the front of the cowl, and the body has been chopped(realy bad job)and the lower back was ruined to put lites in.i have it mocked up after i fixed the front of the frame and i havent touched the body yet, here's some pics.
no im not looking for attention, ive been wanting to post those pics since i joined, and plus,i dident know how to post pics until criss from salt flats showed me how.the body is now off the frame and getting an x member, and then its on to fixing the body.
My only real concern would be the frame and how well it was welded. Other than that it looks like it could be made to work for you.
i took dimensions off another frame and tigged it up in a frame jig i made.my intentions are to go fenderless and no hood sides with that hemi and blower and a four speed turning the qc in the rear.the body is going to sit allmost on the top of the frame, and yes,im going to fix that chopped roof.
Jesus, I've never had anything with that much good sheetmetal on it, you lucky bastards not living in the rustbelt states don't have a fucking clue how easy you have it, do you?...
even though i only paid 800.00 bucks the car,i wouldent give this thing up for any car or cash.i worked on worse cars in my time.
Actually, I wasn't offering to buy it or trade for it. I just offered to take it off your hands so you wouldn't waste your time with something so "hopeless".
riley (floyds body shop has the bottom parts for that)the plymouth doctor and plydo has parts also, thats going to be a nice roadster when you get done!
I once saw one that was just a little worse than that here in Michigan a while ago....oh wait...that was 1961...nevermind...
