i'm headed over to see her in a few minutes so i'll have something to say when i get back. in the meantime here's a pic of her working on her A in the early stages. as usual her late father was right there helping/watching.

well, i did go see her a while ago. however, i didn't talk with her. she was out cold. meds, i suppose. the nurse said to wake her up but i just couldn't. she was so peaceful laying there asleep. so, no report for tonight. obviously she made it through the surgery, though. maybe i can give you a good report tomorrow.
Dad and I went at about 6:00 this evening. She was sleeping and the nurse woke her up. As soon as she saw me she remembered me from the hamb drags. She has challenged me to a race at 2010 drags. She said "We gotta race!" Dad and I talked with her for 20-30 minutes. She was in very good spirits. She has one more surgery and she seemed to think she might be close to coming home this time next week. The whole reason she's in the hospital stems from a pacemaker she had put in back in September. The incision didn't heal properly and caused infection. Just thought I would update you guys on what I found out. Justin
Hey Justin, 10/10 for going to visit her, you are THE man. Just a thought if it hasnt been mentioned prior or already happened but perhaps print out this thread and drop it off to her.
i took her a copy when it was about half as long as it is now. i'll print it off before i leave work tonight (another hour or two) and take it with me when i go see her tomorrow.
Happy Birthday from southrn Illinois. Wish we could ocme for a visit, but it wont happen this week. Prayers and good wishes via the internet.
well i'm back for another round! just letting you all know how i am....had to have surgery to keep a pacemaker from escaping my body. all went well in the surgery friday. got sliced and diced and got some wires taken out and then got sewn back up. added several more scars to my collection but all is well now. i'll be out of the hospital by this thursday or friday and away from work for another couple weeks. wish i could be workin on my coupe but at least i'll have the strength to work on it later! anyway, thank you to ALL who sent well wishes!! you HAMBers are the coolest cats and chicks around!!!!!
BTW, suit [rob] doenst have the net at home but im on the phone with him at the moment, and he says,COULDNT HEAR ANYTHING BETTER!! LOVE YA! ROB!

Should have had them put in a MAGNETO. Get better. Stay better. And stay away from hospitals... they're full of sick people. Hope to meet you at the HAMB Drags 2010.
