I just bought one last week for twenty bucks. it was missing the front cross member but it was still in pretty good shape. And the kicker is I was looking to buy a car & the frame was stuck in the weeds next to the car.

I guess I have to agree with FlynBrian down in FLA. Back in the early '70s in Rod&Custom guys said they were paying a hundred bucks for a bare frame. If you guys in the dry WEST can still get 'em for $100, I too would like to be where YOU are!

I see them at the swap meets (long beach, Pomona) from $150-300, all of the time.

A good one without any rust pitting would be worth 200-250 IMO. Maybe a bit more if the running board brackets are good.

I got both crossmembers with my body, and 70 bucks worth of steel later I had a NICE frame.

Will the DMV tell you without too much h***le if the numbers are clear?

I'm guessing "clear" are easy to read, no DMV is going to have Model A Ford records of serial numbers.

Is there a demand for the running board brackets? I've got a set but I was just going to use them as shelf brackets.

Paid $100 for mine. It was nice and straight with a small stress crack in the front crossmember.
