Harmless fun...HELL YEAH! It's not like Hells Angles took over the town. Wish I still had my old Sears mini with the chrome tank!
----------------------------- Mini-bikers with a "hoodlum image"??? Jeeze...I can almost see it now.....Outlaw 1%ers....on mini-bikes!!! LOL! Mart P.S. 'Back in the day' when I was young and foolish and much more "hoodlum-like" than now, I built a built a mini-bike around an engine salvaged from from a wrecked '69 Honda CB450 motorcycle. It was socially irresponsible, useless, stupid dangerous, scary tire-smoking fast and outrageous fun .....in a very a "hoodlum-like" sort of way!!! =====================
I've been talking with the guys around these parts about hauling our mini-bikes to a parking structure in Downtown Detroit, and racing from the top to the bottom and back up. The one I have in mind is about 10 stories. Everyone seems game, just gotta pick a date.
sounds like a blast, mini bikes are the coolest, and dont feel bad I've had more than 1 talkin to about ridin the mini bike on the streets, everyones done it, kinda like street rodders that have the occasional speed contest ( as they law calls it)
----------------------------- Hmm??? "Run what ya' brung......and hope that ya' brung enough!!!!" Mart ==========================
I can see me hurting myself on that thing (and loving every minute of it)! Please post video of big nasty crazy *** burnout please
A **** load of people here care. Look at how many views and posts the other Vintage Minibike thread has.
Too late. Since when did hotrodders have a clean image? Dirty guys working on rusty jalopies and burning rubber through town...
I found this very interesting and entertaining. Hot Rods, chicks, mini bikes, cops hell all the makings of a good time. Looked like tons of fun
Maybe you missed this: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local&id=6009336 If you're gonna play Jack***, don't do it on public streets.
Really? Then arrange already! When I was a kid I had a gocart but no motor. Problem? Not really, my best friend and I pushed it up the biggest hill we could find, one steered, the other stood on the motor mounts (dual engine cart) and held onto the seatback...on a public road. Ride, crash, repeat
minibikes are way cool ive got 2 mid sixtys models and drive a hot rod aswell love them both the minibikes better on the back than a chopped and channeled a model pickup!
You guys are having way too much fun!!! I would have loved to have been there. I only have two 60's style mini bikes and love ridin them around the neighbor hood. At least we were"legal" when we had the mini bike drags at Billetproof! Robert
Eh, cops were mad only because they weren't invited! Were adult beverages consumed before or after the race?
"RUINER":And you have your "HAMB" name Because? And "cutl***66dude"( very traduitional) I personally would say your a 'stick in the mud" .lol JimV
Looks like fun. I need to get off my a$$ and build mine, currently a bare frame. A bunch of delinquents I tell ya.
